Refund Policy

At Sawgrass Armament, we strive to ensure every customer is satisfied with their purchase and the service they receive. Because firearms, ammunition, and certain accessories are regulated items, our refund and return policies follow both federal law and safety standards. Please review this policy carefully before making a purchase.

General Policy

All sales of firearms, ammunition, and serialized items are final. Once a firearm or ammunition has been transferred to the buyer, it cannot be returned or refunded. This policy ensures compliance with federal and state firearm regulations and helps maintain product integrity and safety.

Firearms

  • Once a firearm has been transferred to you, it cannot be returned for a refund or exchange.
  • If a firearm has not yet been transferred (i.e., it is still in our possession or the shipping process), cancellations may be possible, subject to a 15% restocking fee to cover administrative and processing costs.
  • If your background check is denied, you will be refunded the purchase price minus shipping costs and a 15% restocking fee.

Please inspect all firearms carefully at the time of pickup or transfer to ensure accuracy and satisfaction before completing your Form 4473.

Ammunition and Magazines

All ammunition and magazine sales are final. We cannot accept returns or exchanges on ammunition due to safety regulations and storage requirements.

Parts, Accessories, and Optics

  • Unused, unopened accessories or parts may be returned within 14 days of delivery with prior approval.
  • Items must be in original packaging and in resellable condition.
  • Returns are subject to inspection before a refund is processed.
  • A 15% restocking fee may apply to cover inspection and handling.
  • Customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect.

Gunsmithing and Custom Work

All gunsmithing, custom work, and engraving services are non-refundable once work has begun.

  • If an issue arises due to workmanship, we will inspect and correct the problem at no additional cost.
  • Refunds are not issued for completed labor or materials unless an error was made by Sawgrass Armament.

 

Damaged or Defective Items

If an item arrives damaged or defective, contact us within 3 business days of delivery. We will work with the manufacturer or distributor to arrange a replacement or warranty repair.

  • Proof of damage (photos or video) may be required for processing.
  • Do not return items without prior authorization.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be issued to the original form of payment. Please allow 5–10 business days for processing after the returned item has been received and inspected. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Order Cancellations

Orders may be canceled before shipment with no penalty if the order has not been processed. Once processing begins, cancellations are subject to a 15% administrative fee.

Exceptions

Certain products and services cannot be refunded or returned, including but not limited to:

  • Firearms, ammunition, or components once transferred
  • Custom or special-order items
  • Opened cleaning kits, lubricants, or chemical-based products
  • Gift cards or promotional items
